How InDrive works in Zimbabwe

InDrive has been in Zimbabwe for the past three years. Launched in 2021 in two major cities; Harare and Bulawayo and since then been working as a ride-hailing service in the country. InDrive offers unique operating model in Zimbabwe, one of which is the ability of users (both riders and drivers) to negotiate costs directly.

This feature is called "Name Your Price" in the taxi app. It is a model that's gained widespread favorability in Zimbabwe because it helps to promote fairness in pricing and at the same time ensuring quality ride-hailing services.

InDrive started out in Russia and from there expanded to other countries. Currently, InDrive operates in 779 cities in 46 countries. We can say the taxi app is a global mobility and urban services platform. Speaking about the taxi app's popularity, it's been once recognized as the most installed app globally for two consecutive years.
